These lights are great quality, robust and fully weatherproof. They use a mains voltage halogen floodlight casing to house a 12V DC compact fluorescent low energy bulb.

• Ideal for external use
• Low energy 10W (40W equivalent)
• Runs off a 12V battery (typically Leisure Battery)
• More robust than plastic light fittings
• Directs and throws light very well

These are energy efficient allowing you to make maximum use of power stored in batteries derived from solar or wind energy.

These can be used as to upgrade the Solar Mate kit fittings (a switch may also be required) or can be used as part of a bespoke system.

Please be aware that these are low energy 12V floodlights and will not provide as much light as a normal 240V halogen floodlight! They do provide sufficient light for general working (e.g. checking horses, mucking out etc). Higher output 16W versions are also available if you need greater brightness - contact us for details.

Please note that we have these fittings manufactured locally to order so delivery times can vary, but should not be more than 10 working days - please allow for this when ordering!
