The Solar Home Power Station will power most household electrical devices such as : TV, video, DVD, satellite box, CD player, games stations, lap top & desktop computers, printer, fax, phone chargers, desk lamp, toaster, coffee maker, food mixer, power tool charger, pond pump/fountain, electric mower, garden lights etc etc.

Siting the solar panel : 

The 80 watt solar panel needs to be located outside and is supplied with a robust aluminium stand that allows firm location either in the garden or on a flat roof. Ideally the panel should face due south (range SE to SW will be fine) somewhere where it can get good exposure to the sun's empowering rays.

How it works : 

The power collected by the solar panel is stored in a high performance 85Ah battery located, along with a charge controller, in the waterproof battery box. The cable from the battery box then needs to enter the building and is connected to the supplied inverter which converts 12 volts DC power to 230 volts AC power supplied via the built in 3 pin plug socket. A multi-gang extension cable (not supplied) can then be plugged in to run your electrical appliances.
