Two Display Modes

The Owl Micro has 2 display modes : Cost and Energy . Each mode displays instant and total consumption data.

Cost Mode displays : Instant Cost £/hr (based on present consumption for 1hour) and Total Cost £ (cost since 1st setup or last reset)

Energy Mode displays : Instant Electricity Use kW and Total Electricity Use kWh (cumulative figure since 1st setup or last reset)

Set the Cost

You can set the cost (p/kWh) to match the price you pay (shown on your electrcity bill). If you have tiered or multiple tariffs (e.g Economy 7) you will need to use an average p/kWh figure. Alternatively, if you want to be more accurate, consider using the Owl Wireless Electricity Monitor, Efergy Elite or Wattson energy monitors, all of which support multiple tariff setup.

The Owl micro displays instant and total electricity consumption in kW (total in kWh) and also instant cost in £/hr (based on present consumption) and total cost. Totals are accumulated from first set-up or last reset.

The Owl Micro is covered by a limited 1 year manufacturer warranty.

Single Phase

The Owl Micro can monitor a single phase electricity supply up to a mAximum current of 71A. The clip-on sensor is suitable for insulated cables upto 10mm in diameter (smaller diameter cables are fine).

If you want to monitor a 3 phase installation you will need to buy the larger Owl, Efergy Elite or Wattson plus appropriate additional sensors. If you need to monitor cables larger than 10mm the Owl CM117 can be used with optional large electricity sensors for cables upto 17mm diameter.
