This Bye Bye Standby introduction pack consists of a green switch that controls two smart sockets remotely using wireless technology. Power to each of the sockets can be cut at the flick of a switch making it easy to turn electrical goods off standby when you go out or go to bed. The two sockets can control upto 4 devices each when plugged into 4 way extension blocks.

How to use

Simply plug a Smart Socket into a mains wall socket and plug an electrical appliance into it. Make sure the Green Switch and the Smart Socket are set to the same ‘House Code’ eg. A1. You can now switch your appliances on and off wirelessly from up to 30m away and by doing so you will avoid leaving them on standby.

Important

Indoor use only. Not for use with any electrical appliance containing a heating element, such as an electric fire. In this instance a heavy duty Bye Bye Standby socket should be used (available seperately - contact us for details).
