Connect this LED floodlight to a 12V battery (not supplied) to provide PIR movement activated lighting anywhere you need it. No mains power required!

This light is ideal for use as part of a larger off grid 12V lighting project or as a stand alone solar security light in a remote location. 

• Ideal for car parks, footpaths, stables and yards
• High ouput LED floodlight
• Very efficient with low energy use
• Link with solar or wind power to provide reliable off grid lighting.

This light houses 12 very bright LEDs in a standard IP44 halogen lamp shell. An 18 LED version is also available - please contact us for details.

Typical Solar Powered System 

A typical complete solar powered system aiming to provide 1 hour of light * per day through the winter months of December and January (more as day length increases through year) would include the following :

1 x 12V, 12w LED Floodlight with PIR 1 x 12v, 33Ah Sealed AGM Deep Cycle Battery 1 x 20W Solar Panel 1 x Solar Charge Controller 1 x Switch 10m Cable

The total cost of this sytem would be approximately £440.00 incl VAT and Delivery

The example system above would be a robust solution to a fairly high use area such as a car park or footpath. Run times can be shortened or lengthened as required and the balance of system components adjusted accordingly. Shorter run times = lower cost and longer run times = higher cost. We will be happy to help you size your own system.

* 1 Hour of light - this could be a continuous lighting period of 1 hour per day or 120 x 30second lighting periods (set on timer on PIR). This would increase to 5+ hours of light per day in mid summer.
