Solio can accept power from either the wall socket or directly from the sun and stores this energy within it's internal rechargeable battery for up to a year. Solio then uses this energy to power your gadgets at the same rate as if they were plugged into their conventional charger. When fully charged Solio can store enough power to completely charge a typical cell phone or iPod Nano at least two times. Works with multiple gadgets by using interchangeable tips suitable for cell phones, Bluetooth headsets, smartphones/PDAs, iPod/MP3 players, portable gaming devices, digital cameras, GPS etc.

How does it work?

It's simple :

Charge your solio - from the sun or the socket
Charge your device -attach your device and press the button.

How does it perform?

To fully charge Solio's internal battery from the sun takes 8 to 10* hours in direct sunlight (or 4 hours using the included wall adapter)
When charging a cell phone directly from the sun, 60 minutes of sunlight will provide approximately 25 minute of talk time and 10 hours of standby time*
When charging an iPod directly from the sun, 1 hour of sunlight will provide about 1 hour of play time*
