Freak of the Week (No.1)

A quick word about Freak of the Week :

Freak of the Week is a unique feature of www.ecofreak.co.uk . There is no point to it other than to be a bit of a laugh. It amused us when we first conceived the idea 2 years ago, unfortunately that was last time we managed to update the Freak of the Week feature!

Looking after customers, running the business and having a life always seem to take priority! Never mind, we'll leave the feature on the go and hopefully one day will continue the series.

Any feedback about Freak of the Week is welcome! You can even join in if you like, if you fancy creating your own Freak of the Week please contact us - if your Freak is featured on the site you will be rewarded handsomely (probably with an energy monitor)!

So here we go ....the first (and so far only)  of what we hope will become (one day?) an amusing series of Freaks of the Week.....

The inaugural Freak of the Week is a tree hugging expert!

Now, don't get me wrong, I love trees, but this week's EcoFreak has taken it to the exteme! Clearly Max (as he is known to his friends .. as that is his name) is barking mad, however, ever eager for eco enlightenment, I went to meet him.  This is my photo diary of one of the strangest days I have ever experienced!

Max spots his target .......

.... and it's a beauty - an enormous ash tree.

"With a tree this size it's always sensible to warm up on a smaller branch" says the EcoFreak..........

Wise words Max. Next comes the hug...........

Max is always keen to pass on his green words of wisdom : "you know you've got a good one when your hands don't reach around the other side....."

Our intrepid tree hugger spots another needy trunk........

The inane grin says it all. After a hard session of tree hugging there's only one thing for it........

...a well earned rest.

He really is a fine example to us all. Thanks Max - you are our Freak of the Week!!

Names have not been changed to protect the innocent!
