Freak of the Week (No.1)

A quick word about Freak of the Week :

Freak of the Week is a unique feature designed to give us all a bit of a laugh. We thought it was funny when we conceived it - now we must wait and see! Any feedback is welcome! You can even join in if you like, if you fancy creating your own Freak of the Week look here for more details - if your Freak is featured on the site you will be rewarded with a Freeplay Kito Lantern worth 14.99!

So here we go ....the first in what we hope will become an amusing series of Freaks of the Week.....

This week's inaugural Freak is a tree hugging expert!

Now, don't get me wrong, I love trees and will do all I can to nurture and protect them, but this week's Freak has taken it to the exteme! Clearly he is barking, however, intrepid Ecofreak reporter that I am, ever eager for eco enlightenment, I went to meet him.  This is my photo diary of one of the strangest days I have ever experienced!

The Freak spots his target .......

.... and it's a beauty - an enormous ash tree.

"With a tree this size it's always sensible to warm up on a smaller branch" says the Freak..........

Wise words Freak. Next comes the hug...........

The Freak is always keen to pass on his green words of wisdom : "you know you've got a good one when your hands don't reach around the other side....."

Our intrepid tree hugger spots another needy trunk........

The inane grin says it all. After a hard session of tree hugging there's only one thing for it........

...a well earned rest.

He really is a fine example to us all. Thank you Freak.
